As a mediator, Mr. Goldsmith will actively examine your case file and review any pre-mediation summary materials applying his experience serving both plaintiffs and defendants. His insight, background, and research prior to the mediation session, is aimed to help develop a negotiation methodology in advance of the mediation session – while retaining flexibility to work at your pace and within bounds of your goal. At every mediation session, Mr. Goldsmith will strive to provide each party a full and equal opportunity to present its position in a neutral and thoughtful environment; to be open to the opposing party’s presentation and arguments, and together work toward a mutually acceptable resolution, if one can be found short of a jury or bench trial. As a litigator, Glen Goldsmith is dedicated to the principles of providing aggressive, intelligent, hands-on advocacy, maintaining situational flexibility, and honoring client goals. He is a regular participant in continuing legal education programs and maintains memberships in state and local bar associations, as well as the Defense Research Institute and Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM), Florida Defense Lawyers Association, National Association of Dealer Counsel, substantial trial experience in catastrophic tort cases, consumer litigation and arbitration of commercial and consumer disputes before AAA and other forums.
